More than Meets the Mind Preview
July 20th, 2008Yo, here is a preview of the mural both Pose 2 and I painted inside the Centro Cultural for the More than Meets the Mind exhibit. We got really loose with it…our aim was to intertwine, merge and juxtapose our steez. Check out Pose 2’s website for more dope art! www.posetwo.com
On a similar note, The large orange face I painted as an homage to Tata, a friend, a grandfather, a warrior and a guide in this lifetime, that recently passed away. Rest in peace. Dedicated to you, Sarah…

New Wall Man1*Huit*Werc

July 19th, 2008Slow Children + New wall
July 7th, 2008Here’s a dope sign that I took from my friend Eyer… actually he was kind enough to hook me up with it… I didn’t even have to scavenge on this one..>! It’ll be perfect for a painting I’ve had in mind for a while.
Also, here’s a sneek peek of a wall we rocked together (Codak, Jeva, Eyer, and myself).
These are some hands I painted, tying up a beetle and then flying it like a kite. Something I used to do as a kid, since we didn’t have money to buy a “real” kite. (Note to Peta: No actual beetles were harmed during the making of this mural).

*LOST* Graffiti in the city of angels.
July 7th, 2008Here’s a new book that just came out fresh out of the oven!!
This book has a lot of great work that hasn’t been published before
from some dope artists in Los Angeles.
Here’s a blurb from the wolf’s mouth; “This issue of Lost is a special-edition book that celebrates 10 years of documenting graffiti and visual culture in Los Angeles. It features previously unpublished material as well as highlights from the long out-of-print first 12 issues of this highly acclaimed publication”.
So make sure and hit them up at lost@seekingheaven.com , only while supplies last.

More than Meets the Mind
June 26th, 2008This is an exhibit I’m assisting in putting together at the Centro Cultural de La Raza. It is a continuation to an exhibit that Paul Vauchelet and Werc curated back in 2006, under the name More than Meets the Eye. Because of its great success and list of dynamic artists, we decided to give it another swirl. This time, with more artists and more to show! lol…This time there will be Graffiti art, Comic Book Art, Urban Vinyl Toys, Foto Aktion, Short Films / Animations and Music Performances. As it is, the exhibit will run simultaneously with the San Diego International Comic Con. Definitely something to post onto your calendar…. c-rols
